INTERNET OPTIONS PART 2

Internet securtiy deals with what may or may not afect you computer,some sites deliberitly add things that can damage a computer,or download torgans,and many other things.

If you hit the custom tab you will get this,here you can set over 20 items.You can control what can be seen, or downloaded to your computer.

Each zone has its own setting,you can add or remove sites from the trusted sites anytime. The internet,as it sayes here,contains all the sites you have not refered to in the other zones. levels inclued low,low medium,medium and high.when placed on high the explorer will not open most sites.

The intranet is basicly a network,and most times are the safe places,and most people don't have networks to worry about anyhows.

Trusted sites referes to sites you know to be safe of anything that may download unwanted things to your computer,like malicous ative x componits that may damage your computer.

The restricted sites contains all the sites you have deemed bad,or unsafe for your computer. I leave this setting at high,and will through time post sites that can be harmfull to your computer.

You add or remove sites,by clicking the sites button,and it opens this box for you.

Content is where you set the things that can be viewed on your computer.Hit the enable on the content advisor,and you will see the next picture in this series.

You have these 4 things you can control,language,nudity,sex and violence.Each is controlled by a slide rule as you see here.

As it sayes here you can create a list of sites that are allways viewable,regardless of what the ratings are set to.
